OK fellow orgers. Call this one. Reason I picked these 2 albums to go head up for the simple fact that these were the first 2 albums we knew about the post Prince era. So take a pick. Me? I love both of these albums. Exodus adds a little comedy relief to its set but overall still hard nose funk. While Gold is a little more laid back than Exodus but still delivers as well. My declaration? The winner is ..... NOBODY! Fooled ya! I'm not touching this one with a 10 foot pole. I'll declare a draw by default. Welcome 2 the dawn.

The Gold Experience. There are way too many interludes/skits on Exodus, and it breaks up the flow of the album. But it's still a very good album.

Gold, by a golden mile. Exodus was intrguing for a bit but for me is not a serious Prince album like Gold.

yeah The Gold Experience is an easy winner , theres some great songs on there
and the final 3 tracks are maybe my favourite closing section of any Prince album
ever . This thread does remind though I have to listen to Exodus sometime soon ,
I've not played it for ages and its a really good album too .
