"Any other source" would be recent history. Sharp decline. Maybe falls to #8 or so, then a drop to stay to #21 or so, and then keeps dropping until off the charts in 5-6 weeks. I would imagine this would be the pattern because he sure doesn't seem to be doing anything to promote it. | |

Yeah you're probably right because a week after next the High School Musical bomb is going to be dropped again. And we all know that is going to shatter the whole entertainment industry just like it did last year. I'm glad a Prince record has once again topped the charts, but I too, don't expect it to stay that way for long on the Billboard 200. It'll probably be #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Album charts for about 3 or 4 weeks and then drop a little. [Edited 8/3/07 23:39pm] Check me out and add me on:

It'll be interesting but thats the way it goes when you are an artist with a loyal fan base, the record comes out, everyone who wants it,buys it, then you fall, thats the soundscan era, lets deal with this already and stopped being surprised.
