Some information on these songs would be good I've come across some extended versions of 17 Days, Thunder and Old Friends 4 Sale.
Anyone have any info on these? I know the Friends 4 Sale has never been officially released but what of the other two? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

17 days... extended (4 - 5 mins??) just the 12: mix
Thunder - from the Joffrey Ballet , a special ballet performed 2 the music of Prince (the new Thunder is really cool, those instrumental segues are just off da hook!!, Now if only I could come across a crystal clear version of that one, always loved "Thunder". Old friends 4 sale -> probably the original version (with much better lyrics and mood 2 it!!) i came across an extended version of 17 days also... but all it was is a loop is a loop is a loop.
i like all versions of "old friends 4 sale" -- the newest has the best sound (and i'm not talking recording quality), but the older versions feel more sincere and raw -- makes the song more convincing edit: oh, yes "old friends" was "officially" released by Warners -- even has an album named after it. lots of good stuff on it. check it out. Theres 2 recordings of the original version of 'Old Friends 4 Sale'.
One's with a strong live feel, and a Clare Fisher arrangement, and has got to be one of my favourite songs, period. The other version I haven't heard for a while, but I think its pretty similar to the version on The Vault, except for the change of lyrics.

I think there's some rehearsal versions also. I'm pretty sure I've heard three different early versions of this song. They all different, but I still like each one.
