on another thread, a comment was made about how the vocals on PE weren't as strong, that maybe his voice is straining...I listened again this morning and realized that on "Somewhere on Earth" Prince sounds ALOT like Smokey Robinson.

I definitely agree. It just gets better and better with each listen. Simply amazing. I've been listening to Planet Earth non-stop since I got it. Prince has managed to deliver a personal and powerful album.
