So I was watching, KSHB aka NBC, and there is an upcoming comedy show coming out in the future called, "Chuck." On the preview for the show, it featured a hot woman walking in the store, wearing like a skirt, and 2 guys working behind a counter of an electronic store. One of the guys says to the other, "Stop the presses. Who is that?" The other guy goes, "Vicki Vale." And he starts making the recording scratching sounds from Batdance. Then the girl approaches and says something and the guy goes, "Thats from Batman" and she goes, in a sarcastic tone, "And that makes it better?" or something

I saw it and laughed out loud. I love the Batman soundtrack and this little clip totally had me laughing out loud. Cheers for a mention of Prince's AWESOME track!!!

I just saw it also but as soon as I heard "Stop the press" my mom turned. I'm all "mom what r u doing? turn back" And she's all "What"? Then she turned back but it was going off! pfff, mothers!

I was totally going to post this, but what's weird, is how almost identical your actual post is to the one I almost put up before I scrapped it.

It's a pretty weird reference when you think about it, quite obscure... Outside of us nujobs, who would pick that up..... at all??

But it was great for me. And obscure enough to make me watch Chuck, which I would have probably never bothered to see without the reference.
