TOP NOTCH! The muted trumpets, delicate piano and gorgeous vocals make this a keeper for sure. I've only listened once, and I can still remember it. The lyrics seem very personal and vulnerable, which I love. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

Insipid. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

I just got goosepimples reading this! It is so true! "Be one" all over! Not sure if anyone has said this, but it takes off where "Damn U" left off. The album is obviously regurgitory but this works! P. never disappoints with his ballads.. this could become one of his classics. If Gotta broken Heart Again was recorded as a ballad in the studio it would probably be renamed "Somewhere here on Earth. A successful melange of Damn U, Extraordinary and Gotta Broken Heart (Live). Sounds like Matt Blistan in terms of Trumpet style. 'dre Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

I actually like the song. A lot. But I love the way you cut through a whole stream of praise with one word. I literally laughed out loud. A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.

This is my favorite song on the CD, it sounds pretty fresh, a little differnt from his typical slow jam. The vocals are flawless, and it's a nice jazz quiet storm ballad.
Score: 9 (out of 10) | |

Sounds like old school Prince Beautiful, sad tone to the song but still uplifting in a way. I'm sure Mani loves the line "been so long since ive been with someone/a million years" OUCH! lol Again, I'd love to see this live, I'm sure it'd be an emotional performance. I saw it live at the Roosevelt in LA. It was very emotional. For me, this is second only to And God Created Woman as far as Prince's slow, romantic songs go.
