Among Prince 'fams' and orgers i have never heard or read really negative remarks about Erotic City.
When it comes to the occasional 'fan' and the main public i think Purple Rain is the one song that hardly anyone dislikes. | |

Pink Cashmere? a personal opinion from me, but that was sort of the first ballad from Prince that gave me a feeling of: he is acting on auto-pilot here. Its like him 'knowing': hey, the people love Do me baby, Scandalous, When 2R in love, what the heg.... lets give them something in that vein. For me it was the start of him seemingly feeling the need to put 'generic', formualic R&B ballads on each album (Future Baby Mama obviously belongs to these type of songs IMO). Anyone agrees with me? | |
