I thought Slave To The Rythm by Liz Jones was a half decent read.
There are a few innacuracies but all in all it was OK. There are also album reviews up until (i think) Emancipation. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Anything by Per Nilsen I'd say. There's Joy In Expatriation.

The best biography is 'D.M.S.R.' by Per Nilsen, but it only covers upto 1987.
The Vault is an excellent information resource, but not a biography, and there is newer version coming hopefully this or next year, so I'd wait for that. Get DMSR, anything else, just isn't as good.

Possessed, is a really good one too. On par with any of Per's work...
