Went to the mall to purchase other perfumes, colognes. Almost forgot Prince's 3121 was avail. today.

My friend ended up purchasing a bottle, not cause it's Prince, but because she actually like it.

I read mixed reviews on the perfume and actually it isn't bad at all. It seems to be more masculine than fem. The florals are pronounced in the beginning, however, it turns a little heavy as time goes by believe it or not.

The sales woman didn't push the scent down our throats, she described it to a t. and actually said how different it is and how it scream something Prince would come up with.

A few hours later I sprayed some of my friend's, just to see what it'll be like on my body, I went to the barber shop and someone asked me what I was wearing, they liked it.

3121... either it's u... or it isn't. no big deal, just another scent avail.

They also had a body cream that was packaged in a square box, didn't see the actual product.

the lady from the Macy's I bought it at was wearing a purple top and purple make-up. I asked for the poster but they only had one. she said to leave my info for when they change it.

I won't because I am very butch and macho! I don't use fruity men perfumes! And yes, I love Cher...she does macho music

Small bottles of 3121 were being handed out after the Target Center concert. It smells ok - not sure if I will wear it. I will definitely keep it as a collectible, though.

It will smell a little different on everyone. It just depends on how the chemistry in the perfume blends with the chemistry in ones skin...each persons skin may bring out slightly different notes in the perfume!

Prince's core base is something like 75 or more percent women, and he luvs women, only logical he would direct it towards that market, especially knowing men will purchase it as well. Flip it around, u think if he marketed towards males it would be more of a success?

There is a post somewhere, org. quake. where a woman purchased it and said "it smells better on my 16year old son than me, go figure." lol This of course doesn't mean it's more a man's fragrance, maybe her son smells pretty, lol, and that too would be fine.

People, c'mon... it's a fragrance, scent, cologne, perfume... whatever you wish to call it, of course it'll smell different on everyone, not to mention everyone has different "scent buds," lol, or whatever it's called. Anyway, this topic should rest in peace! All opinions about 3121 are personal and accurate.

When I smelled 3121 in Macy's I said "This smells like Passion for Men". I just sprayed my free bottle before lunch and I still think it smells like Passion.

I agree that this scent is more for a man than a woman, and should be marketed towards men more. I would want my man to wear it.

If women want to wear it I guess that's cool too. Sometimes a woman will wear her mans shirts or boxers to be closer to them so this could fall under that category.

I have the tiny replica size bottle. It's only been sprayed a couple times, so I plan to keep the rest for collectible. I might get my hands on a full sized bottle one of these days. The scent really isn't for me.

I got mine in the Macy's package. It's very pungent when first sprayed and settles into somthing more pleasant after about 20 minutes.

It's just like Prince, it hits you strong in the beginning then mellows out nicely in time.
