I've just hread all 20cds of the set and I'm really digging it:) Man does prince have sooo much music out there!!!

yeah, i have it. what i want to know is when volumes 5 & 6 are coming out. i heard late this year way back when, but haven't heard any recent news.

I have it too,fantastic stuff.I have been told to expect volumes 5 & 6 this winter,dont know which side of the holidays but its supposed to be in the works.

Wait, r we talking about the Thunderball boots? Bcause have them, and the 5th volume already exists; plus, these :CD:'s r covering certain times periods, the last 1 ending in 2001. He has not created enough new material in under a year 2 warrant a 6th volume.
2 any1 who is NOT opposed 2 buying boots, suggest getting this collection of :CD:'s. got them all in April, and slowly have been listening 2 each 1. Right now have listened 2 volumes 1-3 & the first 2 discs on volume 4. figured that this way, 4 at least a few months, would always have new music, so could prevent myself from feeling the need 2 buy a new :CD:. (granted, had to pay a lot of money initially, but since then have been very good).

have a 5 disc :CD: player and have found it fun 2 put in 5 discs at a time (in sequential order), hit the suffle button and listen 2 the songs in random order. have found that it is amazing 2 hear what other music came from this man, and what projects he was working on when he created some of these unheard masterpieces. It is sad that some of these songs will never c the "authorized" light of day.

Volume 5 is out there already. it came out with volume 1 2 3 and 4.

haaa what is volume 6 gonna have on it?

the remainder of npgmc year one with ONE NITE ALOne acoustic piano cd on it?

Somebody please help me out here. What 20 disc boot set are we talking about? (I have a fairly large pre 1998 boot collection). Haven't been in the collecting scene because of having children. I would really like to get some more current stuff though. Please guide me as to were to get my hands on these and other worthwhile CDs. Thanks!

Well we r on the topic can someone tell me if "martika's kitchen", "spirit", & "love... thy will be done" On VOl 4 are actually sung by Prince & not Martika ... if not where the hell can i get hhhiiis versions... not that im greedy 4 them or anything hehe

Thanks Harmony!! Wow, that is a site full of a plethora of info. on Price boots. It's kind of depressing though. Now I know what I'm missing out on. The question is, where do I get a hold of these CDs as well as other decent ones (ONA & Xenophobia etc.). What are original boots going for these days and what are CDR copies going for? It would be nice to have original copies w/ artwork, but I know they would be way too expensive.

DOH it was late last night when I posted hehe,I already have volume 5!!! I also recommend this set to anyone that can get their hands on it.The quality is pretty great.

And yes Prince does vocals on the Martika tracks on it.

Steer well clear of the 12 CD Xenophobia set the sound quality is terrible.
