So much filler article in the beginning, but I am interesting in hearing it.

very interesting...would like to see for myself and I'l be sober on first listen for sure. I like 3121 and Musicology so I think I'm in for a treat with Planet Earth. I hope he plays Chelsea Rodgers in Minneapolis!

i just read the hamburg review. PE sounds like a great album. I love the fact that it has gospel, disco and great guitar work and that people are being reminded of the guitar work of 'purple rain' and 'dolphin' on the new track called 'resolution' and 'lion of judah'.

I am looking forward to hearing the guitar work on the 'planet earth' track, the 'best contender' they say for the great trumpet ballad called 'somewhere here on earth' and the fallesto ballad 'future baby mama', and 'all the midnights' in the world' sounds like 'jughead'...I wouldn't mind because I think 'jughead' is a good humourous track.

looking forward to more reviews including from belgium on 10th july

Interesting review, but I feel my opinion will depart greatly from it. "The 1 U Wanna C" is an unbelievable song in my eyes, not anything that some bratpunk kids could create. What a terrible and off-base comparison.

Good review.

Seems genuine, like the author has no agenda to purposefully tear down Prince, or artificially elevate him.

Mixed bag of good songs and crappy songs. Pretty much what I expect, though I think we'll all disagree which ones are good and which ones aren't so good.

In the end, it's more Prince. If you like 1 track or all 10, you win.

I am really glad to hear you say this. I am so strangely attracted to that song and I haven't figured out how to pinpoint what it really is but I like the song a lot nod

it's these listening party reviews that actually have me really excited about this album, even though most of them have said that it's kind of ho-hum.

because i'm really digging all 3 tracks so far, and everyone that's reviewed it has said that they're the iffy ones lol

Well I am really with you on that. I think that the 3 songs are pretty solid and if they are the trash of the album this is going to be a great album lol

The ones I'm most excited to hear are Planet Earth, Somewhere Here On Earth, Lion Of Judah and Resolution.

I'm actually not that excited about Chelsea Rodgers, even though everyone that's heard it is raving about it. I just feel like I've heard a lot of that kind of thing from Prince.

Of course, I've probably heard that sort of thing from Prince when it comes to the other songs I mentioned, but it's been awhile since he was this deep into a rock mood for an album, and I'm excited about that.

I can't share that sentiment, I'm afriad. lol I adore "The 1 U Wanna C", but the others just don't do it for me, as much as I listen to them.
