"I Hate U" Appreciation Thread! So today, for the first time ever, I bumped "I Hate U." The title caught my attention, and I love it. It kind of, in a small way, reminds me of "Scandalous." I love this song. I love the lyrics. I love how it has the whole lyric references to a court of law. How original. Prince needs to ALWAYS be given credit where credit is due, and this track deserves LOTS.  I'm so happy I found this song. I dig it. Just think, before today, I always skipped this track for, "Gold."

One of his greatest the courtroom drama idea works out very well in this song i can relate to the theme too... probably many people do love and hate... always intresting still one of his best works, the gold experience, for me it's a perfect sequel 2  wich is another highlight | |

"Right now I hate U so much I wanna make love." One of my favorite parts in the song.
Eye Hate U is a really a great song all by itself. The lyrics and great musicainship in it. It's up there as my top 10 favorite Prince ballads. You should really get the Eye Hate U CD Maxi single. The Eye Hate U(Extended Remix) and Eye Hate U(Quite Night Mix) is the shit. Probably better than the album version. But all are great.  Some people think I'm kinda cute

One of my all time favorite slow jams, it's perfect. And the spoken section midway is pure gold. "Close your eyes..I'm gonna cover yo ass with this sheet"

I have always loved it. I think the guitar solo at the end is one the most emotional pieces of music ever. You can jsut feel the love/hate in it. Unbelievable. As for Billy Jack Bitch - I love the horn section at the end. Again, one of the best ever. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent.
