Vavoom is excellent!

Man...this song is excellent. Imagine a video for this: Prince in a strip joint...almost naked stellas...grinding...pouring honey and chocolate syrup into their hot, firm bodies...grinding...lesbian kisses...Prince in the middle!

cool

The song!

I am a secret fan of many booty videos that used to be shown on BET's Uncut!

Black Jesus- "What That Thang Smell Like" was a personal fave! Check it out!!

The miscued lip-synching, the director's shadow clearly visible waving his hand, and that horrific blonde-weaved woman make this a booty classic! Too bad it's cut short- it's the only video I can find for it!

Your video is notthat far off.

First time I heard the song, I was at Paisley Park and Prince was singing it into the mike in an all red jump suit, long hair, big hoop earing, Habibi and two HOT chicks on both sides of him in tight little outfits. I just remember them singing the words Vava voom, vava voom, vava voom thinking to myself, if there was a diffinition for Rock Star I'm look at it. Very iconic.

I like it quite a bit. But I think that's mostly in context of the other material he recorded/released at the time.

Still, it's a pretty good pop rock effort. Wish the guitar was more prominent, as always with this type of song.

And I agree with the "Peach dipped in Cream" description they gave of it.
