The "Delirious/Jack U Off/Sister" medley from the LoveSexy Tour is insane!

It's freacking AWESOME!

Sheila's druming is beyond word!

(I'm refering to the live performance at Dortmund, Germany!)

It's indeed one of P's finer live moments.. untamed energy, and quite a frenzy..lol. It was pretty amazing to witness live as well, since i was there at the time. Best concert i ever experienced, bar none.

I went by bus from Holland, which was especially arranged to take P-fans from Delft and surroundings to Dortmund. I can remember that there were more Dutch people in the westfalenhalle than Germans. Coincidentally, Holland just won a soccer-match in the European Championship against Germany by 2-1, and the dutch left no opportunity unused to rub it in. So we were in high spirits to begin with. During the breaks and quiet moments, the Dutch would break into chanting' Holland, Holland!'. lol.. it's a bit dumb, but now at least you know why when you watch the video or listen to the audio.

Once the concert was finished, it was broadcast in it's entirety on the radio, so we had the bus-driver tune in to the proper station and listened to the entire concert again on the way back to Holland. It was also televised, so when i got home i got to watch the video as well.

It truly was am exhilerating experience.. it just might be one of the best concerts done by any artist, ever.

This whole concert was amazing, I've seen it 30 times over and it never ceases to amaze. I also got thrilled when he busted into the Black Album section, considering he had cancelled the album not long ago back then. Bob George live cool

This is also one of the best live Head performances I've seen. The way the song is played is incredibly infectious.

Just a question. On the old 2 VHS version of the concert.

Is the VHS labelled Part 2 actually part 1 and vice versa?

Thanx. I often wondered that. And as its true, why on earth are VHS's labelled that way lol

I prefer part 2 of the concert as it goes. Medleys annoy me in general.

Great picture. Saw this tour and have the German show on a cheap cassette, but yes, this is a great medley and he really attacks the guitar. This is an incredibly bold show that should be put out on official cd and dvd.
No hard feelings.

I was told by someone when his Ultimate Collection came out that he rejected a first draft that included Erotic City because of the profanity containted within -- if that's true then I doubt we'll see a record put out where he uses profanity which he did during the Lovesexy tour, even if it was for supposed effect in the first half of his 'bad' persona.

I really don't care what the man believes but it's a shame if his personal beliefs truly are hampering the release or remastering of classic American music.
No hard feelings.

It seems like to me like He denies his past, the Man he used to be, the Man without He wasn't the One He is now. neutral

I believe he is still the greatest live performer in the rock/pop world today, and the most diverse ever, but when he thinks, as in the song Guitar, that he can only hint at the word 'hell,' then he's gone and isn't coming back anytime ssoon.

I'm curious, if anyone can answer, he's played Girls and Boys lately -- what does he say in place of "had the cutest ass"? I assume he's changed the lyric but just how pathetic is the alteration?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but apparently it now goes like this:

At one of the Celebrations, he did an accoustic set with that song and it went "She had the cutest a___ he'd ever seen" and lets the audience fill it in.
