I can't do it, I'm torn

Prince and might not be the same person, but I do believe they're the same musician. He's human, he grows he progresses, he changes, good times and bad. We're all fans, sometimes we expect him to be perfect or inhuman and not make mistakes. I never wine about him. Whatever form or way, he gives us more music than any musician period.

With what's going on in the Survivor threads, and my little Controversy vs. Gold thread it leads me to ask this simple question. And i'm sure it's been asked before, but i'm curious.

Or Prince/ after Graffiti Bridge?

That's the cutoff that I think is fair.

For me it's no contest. Not even close.

Before. Hands down. Don't get me wrong, i liked D & P. I liked . I even liked most of Come. I absolutely HATED Gold. I liked Chaos & Disorder. I just don't think any of this stuff holds a candle to the pre-Bridge stuff.
