I saw on Amazon .Com,that Puple Rain was coming out on Blu-Ray the 24th of July,can anybody tell me what it will contain and will we finally get the ultimate version,PLEASE!!!

I bet it's going to look (and sound) amazing, but yeah, it would be nice to have something "extra" on it. Since it's WB, there's no chance of that though.

It has basically the same special features as the anniversary dvd released a couple of years ago

As far as being in High Def, Isn't there some issue with the film? Like wasn't part of the original film lost? There was something in the commentary about that.

oh and when they do release they should rename "blu Ray"
