I hate Emancipation....seriously. I loathe pratically every song on those 3 discs of crap. However, I do like White Mansion.

See, to me Disc 1 is the worst of the 3. It's the most uneven and has the most really crap songs. It's only got actually 5 tracks that I think should have been released. (Jam Of The Year, Right Back Here, Somebody's Somebody, White Mansion, Bed I Scream).

I think if you consolidated it and disc 3 (and axed a couple off of disc 2), you'd have a really tight album. But he went and made it three, and jammed everything in to fit the gimmick of 3 discs, 60 minutes/12 songs each, and pretty much ruined what otherwise could have been an excellent album

hell, almost every one of the outtakes, released (on Crystal Ball, Chaos & Disorder, and NPGMC) or unreleased is better than a lot of the songs that made it to the finished product.

I enjoy White Mansion quite a bit as well. Very melodic.
