That movie, "From Justin to Kelly" gets more airtime on T.V. than Call My Name.

The Morning Papers.

Musically, it sounds like the theme to a mid-80s dramedy and lyrically it's slightly icky, as it sounds like he's defending underage sex!

1999 the new master. no one picked up on it and even the hardcore fans
who bought it hate it with a passion.

totally void and a wasted opportunity. best to be forgotten.

By far the worst thing he's everdone, never came across anyone who likes it.

I don't even know where my copy is.

I'm of the opinion that he has continued to release good to great albums since Lovesexy with TGE and TRC on a par with his best albums and don't get it when people say stuff like they only played 3121 a couple of times, maybe to them the likes of Rave Musicology and 3121 sound like 1999 the new master doesto me. I only ever played it a couple of times and therewas nothing of merit on it at all.

i love his whole attempt to be girly-grunge in that video, though - with the sleeveless plaid flannel blouse and the little stagedive at the end. giggle

oh, i love the song too. i just love that he's trying so hard in that video to look like a funk eddie vedder, and he ends up looking more like halle barry in the flintstones movie.

the people who caught him were specially auditioned and they had to prep by applying skin-softening hand lotion for weeks leading up to the shoot. nod
