John Blackwell can do everything Sheila can do and more, he also has as much stage presence. But Sheila's not bad....for a girl

Dez played guitar. As for a drummer, it is either Michael Bland or John Blackwell. They were definitely the best out of all of them he has had.

Sheila E for the rock and John Blackwell for everything else... I guess I like Blackwell the most.

yeah, the drummer he had during Come & TGE is awesome

But at one time, I think he did make a differentiation between the two.

Sheila E. does percussion
John Blackwell and Michael B. do the drums

"greatest choice" definitely goes to john blackwell, for many reasons
and no, this doesn't mean i think he's the best who's worked with prince

Wow. What a great critique of percussion skills.

Blackwell, hands down, but Mike B. was awesome.

Personally I have awalys liked Bobby Z, lol. But I'd have to say Blackwell and Bland.

It's always good to see Sheila E back there. John Blackwell is awesome. I like Bobby Z as well, looked good with the revolution days.

John's great...spectacular even. But, I think Sheila's got him beat here! She's a true percussionist, which makes her I think just a tad bit better with regards to versatility of style.

Sure, Mr. Blackwell has flawless technique. And, he's a showman for sure!! But, if you really think about it, he'd be a Lebron James to Sheila's Kobe Bryant! Sure, Lebron can ball!! But, Kobe is much more versatile a player.

Who would you want taking the last shot in the closing seconds of the game? My choice would be...of course...Sheila E.!!

Just my 2 cents.
