Even though there's only 10 songs, I'm really hoping that we've got a few 6min+ numbers here and some of those titles possibly hint at some kind of concept album, maybe?

well, a short album is kind of ok really. some albums these days
really are too long.

back in the day prince released several albums that were only 9
tracks and they're great.

we're used to some more music these days, ok, but it would be an
incredible treat if he'd release 2 or 3 singles from this album,
with 2 new songs on the each.

nod

just like in the old days, a short album and a wealth of material
on the b-sides from extended versions to remixes to new songs.

Yeah, I was really hoping for a 'normal' length album (10 tracks or so). I prefer 10 solid tracks to get my teeth into, rather than trying to absorb 20 tracks with a few gems tucked away.

if this album is another 40 mins of music i'm going 2 b pissed since the man has over a thousand songs unreleased, it's a shame that (if this track listing is accurate), we only get 10 songs. funk that! and i don't care if the album has filler material! give me over an hour worth of music!
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Hmmm, I hoped the album version would be longer, the song fades out too early for my liking!

Hope this part is true at least.
So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?
