Detroit...On Your Mark, Get Ready...SET -VOTE "Guitar"!!! Ok, now that we know "Guitar" was serviced to Radio Today (06/11/07), Its now up to us to get the buzz going. Thou Columbia has definitely shipped the new single to stations abroad. The Fams, have to now be willing to do the work!!!
So these are the few stations in Detroit that I'd say "Guitar" would fit perfectly on: 96.3 WDVD -You can also listen to them online, they play everything from Kelly Clarkston, Amy Winehouse, Gwen Stefani, Carlos Santana, & Lenny Kravitz. They even played "Song of the Heart", a few times. So pick up your phones and call them now. I've already called and put in a request or two. 313 298-9630 Now the other station in the motor city that I guess would add a song like "Guitar" would probably be... Channel 95-5FM They play everything from Fergie, Akon, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado and they even played "Black Sweat" for their Make it or Break it Segment. But Of course the DJ didn't like it, because he's not a big fan either... so hopefully that won't happen with the new prince song (hmmm). But its worth a try...Call em up at: 313 298-9595 Good Luck Famz!!!! Lets Make This Summer A HIT for Our Lil Man!!! www.newpowerdetroit.com

Come on, we all know that Guitar isn't going to get airplay. I'm not being negative, just being real. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Love your enthusiasm though, but, naw, I ain't callin' them...
It's all corporate man, they are going to play what they are told to play. We've got to stop judging his music on it being a "hit" or not...shit, his best tracks are NEVER played on the radio. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
