Did Prince have a physical altercation with Sinaed O'conner? Today on the Wendy Williams show she talked about Sinead O'conner and Prince comming to blows because she recorded "Nothing Compares 2 U",before he could give it to one of his many female protegees (thank God she got it first). I think there’s some misinformation here. At least in the part about how Sinead recorded it “before he could give it to one of his many female protégées”. Let’s not forget that the song first appeared on The Family’s album—which came out about 4 years before Sinead’s version. It wasn’t until after she made it a world-wide hit that Prince got all possessive about it. |
