A recent post of mine prompted me to place this CD in the player and you know....this really is an okay album. If you lose any expectation or pre-conceived idea of what a Prince album should be it turns out to just be an enjoyable, fresh sounding experience. The guitars and other instruments all sound rawer and there are some tunes here

Anyone think this album gets a raw deal?

I did NOT like it at first.....but I LOVE it now.

short album ...but i love it

I like it too... but Prince really should lay off the keyboards when doing rock... he has this habit of always layering the keyboards with guitars...

I like this album a lot. I used to HATE "I Rock, Therefore I Am".... but like Anxiety said, if the 2 rappers were axed from it, it'd probably be alright. Very underrated album. A few clunkers. But then most of his albums have a few clunkers, so I don't know why this one's so hated.

I really like this album too. My favorite track is "Right the Wrong" - groovy tune.

always loved the album. It gets a raw deal here.
But I'm tired of trying to follow the logic on this site.

Some say that "come" is a top album and "the vault" and "chaos" are sub-standard
I gave up a while back.

but "Same december" and a couple of other guitar based song are definately top-notch!!!

I've always liked Chaos and Disorder -- a lot. Zannalee cracks me the hell up every time I listen to it and I Like It There is one of my favorite songs, period.

I love it from the very first listening.
I have no idea what the haters are talking about...

Love almost the whole album

It's rockin! I love love love it.

Great album! Love it.

as you can see in my sig, c&d is in my top 5, its brilliant. i love the rockier tracks like Ilit and Chaos, but the rapping tracks are really good too like I rock therefore i am (Love the synth in that!!)

but the best track is Dinner With Delores.

There are many songs I like on there, but the overall impression still leaves me with a headache.
