What were some rumours/misinformation leading up to 3121? Someone posted a couple fake tracklist threads yesterday that I thought were really interesting...
What were some things going around about 3121 that ended up not being true? I remember hearing about a song called "Vibe" that he was supposed to perform on SNL.. Was there any fake/alternate cover art for 3121 ever posted? [Edited 6/8/07 14:02pm]

That Love sounded like Prince & The Revolution.
That 3121 sounded like a Camille track. That Te Amo Corazon was shit. Sorry, a hit. (It was neither) ...etc forever but I'm bored already...

Remember that media sheet that had all the 3121 "supposed" appearances
I remember Oprah, Letterman and others were on that list "Paisley Park is in your Heart"

The Camille voice is sellotaped on almost like ahalf-remembered afterthought and the playful quirky oddness that defined those tracks has been surgically removed and replaced with a nostril - hollow and too smooth. It's a deep funk groove from Sonny T that Prince has layered to death with old ideas. Fool's gold, in other words. Although I do enjoy the last minute, especially live, that's when it gets a pulse.

Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

It's true, camille has gone... he records too clean nowadays - overproduced. Plus changes in technology, i dont even think he uses the same effect to achieve the voice high pitched anymore.
