Old Fans I have been a Prince fan for some odd 20 years, been through the many ups and downs of his career. As I turned 50 a few monthes ago, I just wondered if I was the oldest fan on the org.  | |

Well, I am 52 years old and the man still does it for me everytime... I've always thought Prince was amazing. The fact that he is back in such fine form is icing on the cake. When I tell people that I am a Prince Fan they look at me like I've lost my mind....Then I politely let them know that they are the ones that have missed out. Being 52 is just a number. Inside I am 25 and still loving the funk!!!!You get a brother in trouble, girl! | |

I often wonder what people who were born after after 1980 like in Prince I mean his hottest years were when you weren't even old enough to go see him, and some may never see him live because he seems to only play for adult club age audiences and people with LOTS of money.Audiences today are just living off the fumes that the old Prince left behind! My story... When buying sweets in my local corner shop one day in the early 8o's (Birmingham UK) I noticed the shop also had a little record rack and some 'cheap' 7" vinyls!!!!! I remember the vinyls were 50p each!!! I bought a bow wow wow record ( I forget which) and my first Prince record... Do it all night! I was 11! and HOOKED  my mother was MORTIFIED One minute they want peace……
