hey do you think he celebrates his birthday, I remember when he was going through his jehovah's witness phase he stated he didn't celebrate his birth and that he will celebrate his death!!!

i know that people feel compelled to wish him a happy bday....but I honestly consider it disrespectful. If you didn't know he wasn't JW and didn't celebrate bdays, that is one thing..but if you know he doesn't celebrate bdays, what's the point? It is much more respectful to honor his belief and not wish him happy bday...just my two cents....carry on.  | |

well even if you dont believe in celebrating your birthday,*like so many have said* just know so many are thinkin of you and that you entered the world on the 7th of June and we'll all be thinking of that... if it wasn't for you being born, ther'd be a serious lack in MUSIC period... I get your point, but it is hard for us as loving devoted fans to let the day pass and not say something, ya know..i mean U responded to this thread, that is something, right? You may say you don't celebrate your Birthday any more cause you only had ONE Birth Day..... But... you can celebrate the 49th Anniversary of your ONE Birth day! 
We love you so much and you have brought SO much joy to MY life..
Your music has helped me get through the death of my Mom and helped me get through alot of other sad times in my life, and has helped me celebrate the happy times. Seeing you in concert is the BEST! Please come to Chicago SOON.. We miss you SOO Much. God Bless you and many many MANY more Happy Days!!!!!
