'More Bounce To The Ounce' was frequently covered at 3121, Las Vegas with Mike Phillips on vocoder.

I'd be disappointed... I'd rather Prince didn't put cover versions on his records.

I'm really not into Prince doing covers on his albums. But that's probably got more to do with rougly half of them being horrendous.

Really? I like his version of the covers. I loved his version of La La La (Means I Love You) & All Around The Watchtower & Best of You I still watch on YT. As long as they're not covers of recent pop songs.. like covering Usher or something. That would piss me off. | |

Hard to say. I've only heard the early version of "Guitar" and was pretty nonplussed. I loved the live performance at the Super Bowl, but I've learned to not judge a song by its live performance, especially because Prince always brings it live. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you! | |
