Has any one noticed the 'new' song on 3121.com?

Well, its not really new: its a liver version of the title track from 3121.

First 'Satisfied', now '3121', could it be that the new CD is 'just' a live CD recorded in Vegas?

not that i don't LOVE 3121

but i need new material

It started out so exciting and then just fell apart soon afterwards to mendering. I have heard him kill it live too. Shame it was all so safe, and too short.

You know, a live 3121 isn't such a bad idea - a lot of the songs on there are 10 times better live than recorded in a studio.

But still, wouldn't really count as "new".

I agree Lolita, Satisfied and Black Sweat are much better live.

i wouldn't mind a live or remixed version of the 3121 album...not as the next "new" album, but if he ever felt like revisiting 3121 (which i don't think is really prince's style generally), i'd dig it. i don't mind the tunes on that album, but i'd love to hear them come to life more.
