Actually, unless they signed a release form he's not gonna use it publicly. So,I surmise it was just for fun to be Different. Once again these fans haven't a Clue!

Hmmm, I think you're the one who hasn't a clue...there are signs ALL OVER Paisley Park that by stepping foot in the Park you are giving release for them to tape you and use whatever footage in however they see fit including commercial release...

So maybe you'll be shown someplace. I know in Miami fans had to sign release forms in the past and then they were in a video and yes they got paid. So,I don't think he's gonna use the footage. But if he does you should feel glad. I know everybody wants to see him play, but he doesn't always play. To me this isn't such a big problem when people have died in N.Y. on 9-11. I say Prince is saying Shiva still so give him a break.

Sometimes I worry that Prince sees the rest of the world as sheep. Maybe just maybe... "one of us"... IS... ??

i thought it was fun/funny. i had a good time hanging out with my pal, who i usually only get to see when there's a party. and it was hilarious that prince was standing behind us while the cameraman onstage encouraged us to look onstage and 'pretend' prince was playing . . . "HANDS IN THE AIR, EVERYONE!!!" LMFAO!!! prince ya freakin' weirdo smile

with prince it's always a toss up. sometimes he'll go onstage and amaze us with his skill, other times he won't.

that only thing that seemed unfortunate (to me) was that the advert on the NPGMC said "come dressed to sweat", and some trusting souls took that advice to heart, then shivered their butts off waiting outside for an hour in the chilly wind.

Man, glad I didn't fly out. The one time my brother and I did drive all the way to Paisley we were lucky enough to actually see a performance. Who ever knows with Prince. We deserved it though after the 3+ hours he made us wait in the sub-zero weather.

We decided that he refused to play cos we didn't go thru enough pain to get inside... biggrin

WE wished you would've flown out though, who needs Prince if you are there?

heart TRON heart

heart TRON (L) indeed!!

In fact, when we first got there and were still all excited thinking we were gonna see a fabulous show my only complaint was that our kitties weren't there with us.

i'm a little confused about some ppl's reactions to Friday's party. When i saw the post after getting home from work on Friday, i knew i was going. i also knew that before i arrived it could be cancelled since it's a three hour drive for me. i quickly made my departure taking my chances. Driving down to the Twin Cities i cautioned myself not to be expecting a performance even tho i was secretly hoping for one. i had read the post very carefully and no where did it promise a live jam. When i arrived i began to get excited as i saw the stage set up. The tunes were sounding good and i began to dance since for me it's next to impossible not to move to the sounds that Prince creates. i usually try to stay on the side or in the background since for me half the fun is watching the young funksters get their groove on. i also do not want to send mixed messages to others which i found out is easy to do when dancing to the funk. When the DJ announced that he wanted 'everybody' up front, at first i hesitated since i really was not there to have my mug or butt in any video. Yet the second or third time we were asked to join the group up front i went. i went up because it only seemed right to honor the request to participate in Prince's "Party." Here he was, giving us a funky fun party and all he asked was for a little participation. i tried to stay behind the lovely young beauties near the camera. but toward the end of the taping when they were playing 'Days of Wild', i saw the camera zoom in our direction when we all started screaming "We Want The Funk!" Afterall i think that's why any of us were there, we wanted to hear some of Prince's funky music, preferably live, but hey, IMHO, the sound at Paisley is primed for perfection and surpasses 'sound' i've heard anywhere. i felt that by Prince inviting us to his house he had already acknowledged us. He certainly could have been doing any number of different things but he chose to spend that nite with us. Perhaps he was feeling let down since it sounds like he had tried to put together a 'live' jam as there were musicians seen leaving earlier that nite. i thought it was great he was there hanging with us even if he kept to himself. i honestly don't get it folks, here's the world's most imaginative artist inviting us to his place to party, what r U complaing about?

The best part of the party was when Prince played that one song that goes:

"one more scam, one more scam, one more scam, from Prince and the Band!"
