II)" – 2:57 I think "The Latest Fashion","Release It" and "New Power Generation" are the weak tracks.Many of the other songs are good,but not great ("Round and Round","Melody Cool","Tick Tick Bang",title track).To me,this album has no real masterpiece on it.There isn't a single song that I would consider a "classic". But when it's good,it's very good ("Can't Stop This Feeling I Got","We Can Funk","Thieves In The Temple").Overall,I'd say it's a mixed bag. But... but... Joy In Repetition is sooo good. 
And I love-love-love Release It. Many folks think it sucks, but I can't understand why so many peeps have a broken funky-bone. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

And he did... The "Lay down ur funky weapon" hook
