if i hear enough good reviews, i'm sure i'll buy some for my ma, who is a sometimes-prince fan herself...at least there's money going to charities.

If they are going to raise $500,000 through perfume sales alone, using the 7% of sales that will be donated to charity, they will need to sell $7.1 million dollars of perfume or just under 229,000 bootles of 3121 at the bargain price of $31.21.

To reach 229,000 bottles would mean that every second 2.65 bottles of perfume would need to be sold on 7/7/07.

They must be calculating proceeds from a performance to reach the $500K. Otherwise those numbers would be impossible..

i would love to know what his 7 charities are. i bet one of those 7 charities is JW affiliated but it's all good, i'm just glad the perfume is affordable.

Just think it would make more sense to give a big chunk to one charity than a token gesture to seven charities. I don't think 1% = charity event. It's as much about riding on the coattails of another big event. That's all.
