quite a bit of Morris Day and Andre Cymone stuff, IIRC. and a lot of Wendy & Lisa stuff. but that was a much more collaborative relationship, so I don't think he outright stole from them. they were on the payroll.

Kiss...(arrangement wise) once i heard the original acoustic blues version and the mazariti version- i never looked at the same again (it wouldn't be the hit it was 2day with mazarati's version tho)

well, an essential part of Purple Rain, the opening chords with those gorgeous 9ths, was Wendy's input. I can't imagine the song starting with straight major chords, it would not be the same.

i think some lady complained that "Soul Sanctuary" was stolen from her by Prince on a documentary about Prince´s "millions". I cant remember the lady´s name, she was really forgettable.
