you text PRINCE to 2020 then you recieve a password and a link (which isnt yet active) it doesnt say how much the tickets are.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

you can see the scissor sisters for £35

That's the great thing. Even if you're not widly excited about his studio material, he always brings it on stage.

Oh please, he's been phoning it in for years. The simple fact that HE DOES NOT HAVE A BAND speaks volumes.

The simple fact that you won't be there leaves another seat for the rest of us.

You've been here since 1998 hating on Prince. That is sad. And that Bart, is a simple fact.

I really hope he does visit Australia, even though I don't live there. How long since he performed there? Even if he stays put in one place for a longer period of time, do visit all the continents. One stage, per continent. I mean we are talking planet earth here...
He visited Australia first on the Musicology tour.

Wow. This is unexpected to say the least. The O2 in Greenwich is of course the Millenium Dome, which has been done out and is due to re-open in July, so it appears the new owners will be using Prince to promote the venue, being one of the first acts to grace the stage. Can Prince really sell this out for 2 weeks given his general lack of popularity in the UK or will his legendary status carry the day? It will be interesting to see. Maximum capacity seems to be 23,000 according to this blurb:

Sitting at the centre piece on the site of the former Millennium Dome, The O2 Arena now boasts a fully-raised roof and outline. The purpose-built street, which wraps around the complex and will contain a 2,000 capacity Live Music Club, 11 screen cinema, exhibition and theatre spaces as well as bars and restaurants, is now clearly defined.

Also announced were plans for The O2’s staging of an opening season across its different venues. Featuring a broad range of music, entertainment and sporting events, it will span the summer of 2007, designed for the maximum breadth of appeal. An Olympic Venue, in 2012, The O2 will host the Gymnastics and Basketball finals whilst in 2009, it will play host to the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships.

The first purpose-built music venue in London since The Royal Albert Hall in 1871, The O2 Arena offers previously unavailable benefits for artists, customers and media. A flexible frame means a bespoke capacity can be set from two people to 23,000; an unprecedented 50 tonnes of equipment can be hung from its roof, whilst the main floor can be transformed to an ice rink in two hours. Consumers can enjoy wide armchair soft seating and broadcasters can take advantage of integrated, high definition broadcast capabilities when covering entertainment and sporting events.

Can't afford to go every night for 2 weeks, don't know how on earth I'm going to decide which nights to go (or rather, which nights to unavoidably miss!)

Oh oh oh!!! I had to go to Minneapolis to see him last time. Can guarantee that the venue will easily be full for every performance as Prince is loved and respected in the UK and Europe and I'll be there for every one. Anyone coming over here will be guaranteed a good time. Carrie hope to see you here.

Why do you feel the need to label fans as "haters".

Kinds goes against the grain of Prince's philosophy doncha think.

This is great news, and I am really happy for those of you overseas who have been waiting so long for him to come back your way.

I am sure with all of that waiting the shows are going to be crazy wild with energy from the crowds.

I hope you all overseas are kind enough to share the set-list's and shows with everyone afterwards.

biggrin
