I don't know why people are getting so upset about this.

O2 did similar pre-sale deals with several other concerts (Rolling Stones,
Scissor Sisters, Keane, Barbra Streisand). Why are people sooo bent out
of shape because O2 customers will get the chance to buy tickets a whole
ONE DAY ahead of everyone else? It's an O2 sponsored venue, that's why
they're getting the pre-sale.

Plus, I seriously doubt that knowing the password is gonna get you anywhere
if you ain't actually got an O2 phone.

At the end of the day it ain't exactly hard to get hold of the password rolleyes
Every UK resident on here must either be on the O2 network or surely know a friend, family member or work colleague who is. Get them to get the password for you.

Also as someone else pointed out you prob don't need to buy a new O2 phone, just a SIM card. We've all still got 2 whole days + to sort it before Thursday's presale! I also expect there will be other presales from other sources.

And you never know, Prince may surprise us and sort former NPGMC members out with a presale himslf, always expect the unexpected with Prince biggrin

Yeah, and hopefully you won't mess up things for everyone else in the future b/c you posted the password. I don't think you should have posted it. What's the point of having pre-sale tix if everyone can get the password (including scalpers). Who knows how many pre-sale tickets are available? I'm not in Europe, so I'm not worried, but if I were and had an O2 phone but couldn't get pre-sale tix because the password was posted on a website, I'd be pissed. Same thing when the old NPG sent out a pre-sale password for the first few 3121 Vegas shows.

twocents

Yeah, because scalpers from the UK really can't afford mobile phones and certainly don't have O2 ones so all us bad O2-motherfuckers who want to do our O2-chant in the first rows with our own O2 Prince will be really pissed if some people there don't own a O2 phone. NAUGHTY scalper people and the likes!! So everybody who can't show a O2 symbol tambourine to hippeti hoppeti dance with will be booed away by all O2 members and Prince himself with our O2 ringtones. Oh, I am getting in the mood for these concerts, I totally completely forgot my NPGFMC life time membership, this O2 thing is so much more fun! "Get UR hands of my O2 phone baby, it's MINE!! Give me my O2 experience! banned

Wow. This is unexpected to say the least. The O2 in Greenwich is of course the Millenium Dome, which has been done out and is due to re-open in July, so it appears the new owners will be using Prince to promote the venue, being one of the first acts to grace the stage. Can Prince really sell this out for 2 weeks given his general lack of popularity in the UK or will his legendary status carry the day? It will be interesting to see. Maximum capacity seems to be 23,000 according to this blurb:

[i]Sitting at the centre piece on the site of the former Millennium Dome, The O2 Arena now boasts a fully-raised roof and outline. The purpose-built street, which wraps around the complex and will contain a 2,000 capacity Live Music Club, 11 screen cinema, exhibition and theatre spaces as well as bars and restaurants, is now clearly defined.

This is where Prince is playing. The 2300 seater music club. Not the 23,000 seater dome. See you down in Kings row area!

By the way, the bars in the club have pumps that pull a perfect pint in 7 seconds!

Actually, the unreserved standing will probably be the best place to enjoy a prince show. Especially if Days Of Wild comes out!

I'm impressed that Europeans have been so patient with Prince, admittedly,he owes u a hell of a tour.In your reviews, don't skimp on the details. Get Wild!

Does anyone actually know if it is 3121 related? It's not exactly Vegas, is it?
It's in the arse end of no-where, bit of a shit hole really.

Anyone planning to come from Europe,(or flyable distance in uk) seriously consider using the 'City' airport, not the main ones, as this is really for the commuters, and is right in the middle of things, and only a short hop to where the dome is.

I was refering to The Dome, London aint a square mile of museums, architecture, wine bars and restaurants. The Dome is in a shit hole area, in my opinion. It's out a bit, that's all I'm saying, not 'Glam' like Vegas.
