MY husband had a heart attack and is barely living...his daughter from fisrt marriage is givng me hell and i've really had no choice!

I would NEVER sell my Prince stuff no matter what.

I have always said I wouldnt do it as it means too much...but beleive me when your backs against the wall and you are struggeling you really have to and its so bloody painfull!

Treat it as a liberation.

I sold off the vast bulk of my collection two years ago. Got just over £9,000 for it. I used the money on all sorts of silly things, it was great.

I still have all the music on CD, DVD and hard drive. Now I have a Prince cupboard, instead of a room.

Its a great feeling!

Sorry to hear of your situation. Saying that, you could always sell your computer, rather than your collection!

well if it were for my 18 year old daughter i'd say come and get it, but then again she's a daddy's girl and needs a damn jobby job.

I am so sorry to hear about your situation Kira.

I hope your husband's daughter backs off right now, because this is a very stressful time for everyone involved. That being said, you have so much more to think about than your Prince collection. You can always make copies now, and rebuild it later when you get more money.

I'll be keeping your family in my prayers.

I'd get a better paying job, and not sell my collection or just copy it all to harddrive (as I've already done...twice)
