I have his new album. "Sex With My Ex" is really Prince-esque. Overall, it's good. Not remarkable, but good. I just can't look at his face lol

Although I am not a Neyo "fan," I REALLY respect his work ethic. I was not surprised to learn that Prince was such a big influence on him, as he said in a recent interview. He recently refered to Prince as the total package and said there was nothing Prince couldn't do. I think it is great to see that Prince has inspired someone like Neyo, whom you might not readily connect with P as he has a lot of MJ in his performance style.

However, Neyo has clearly been inspired by Prince's work ethic. You see it in the way he writes and produces for others like Beyonce, Lionel Ritchie, Rhiana, etc. He is serious about being a songwriter/composer, producer, performer and more. I respect that in him, so though I am not a "fan" of his particular style of music, I wish him much success.

When someone mentions a now single P tune as their favorite, we can see that he/she is a true prince fan!

My buddy turned me on to Ne-Yo. I actually like some of his stuff. It's just good to to see people out there that really still respect real musicionship and aren't totally caught up in the b.s of the industry today.

I like some of Ne-Yo stuff. He is not setting the world on fire but, his music has melody and structure. Something a lot of RnB artist lack.
