Sinead may be a bit of a wacko but that's no reason for some people to show their ignorance of music - 'one hit wonder' indeed.

I'm not a huge fan of her, as she tends to go off on tangents, but she's released about 10 albums over the last 20 years - check out her amazing debut, 'The Lion and the Cobra'. And one of my favourite songs ever - The The's 'Kingdom of Rain' is a duet with her and Matt Johnson.

The term 'one hit wonder' is derogatory and in my book is unjustified. A quick wiki will show her career. 10 albums, 16 million sales. Experamentalist - a reggae album, another in the Irish language. Not bad for a single mother with 4 kids who's not out pushing singles and touring 24/7.

Anyhoo, back on track a little, no-one's mentioned the alleged edits to the movie "Purple Rain' to lose the R rating. The barn scene and this little doozie:

i dont believe it but homeboy is a narcissist and part of that personality is making everyone around the victim think the victim is crazy. sinead's her own worst enemy in that respect, i do however see him being emotionally abusive.

Women are plain crazy,paranoid and let their imaginations run away from them(although some with some justification). Anything is possible, Prince drop kicked Brown Mark for breaking a bass string on stage and he has a temperament to do it. But I don't believe anything that nutcase sinead says. Mainly because I've been accussed of bullshit too many times so if I think a woman has issues(sinead has major ones) I usually just consider it a case of psychological problems. Prince has too much respect for women to ever hit a woman, also, why didn't she call the police like women do all the time? This sounds like I have issues, but women like that are the reason i'm very careful with the women I will even communicate with.

Okay, A couple of things that make me doubt this story. a) Why would Prince care if she used profanity in interviews? b). If he did rough her up, Why didn't she press charges? No other woman Prince has been asociated with (Business or pleasure) has ever accused him of this so why would he smack her bald headed @$$?
