What interview was Prince most charming in? Hands down the first MTV interview in '85. He was so hilarious and witty and quick...he just came across so lovable and playful in it you couldn't help but want to be his friend because he seemed like killer company! I'm sure fans in '85 were so excitied to hear him speak and awnser questions for the first time.

I am sure I haven't seen them all (I know -- sacreligious!) but I am particularly fond of his interview with Oprah when he was with Mayte. The man exudes love for Mayte and it is the sweetest most honest thing I've ever seen.

I like the radio interview with Tom Joyner in the morning. He talked about the song he did with Stevie Wonder "What The Fuss" and made jokes here and there. It was hilarious, he's a funny lil' guy. Blue

No idea... I've seen so many of them. Housequake's been gone 4 a week... I wish I could see the Oprah one again, I've only seen it once a month or two ago.
I'd say the interview with Mel B. (aka: Scary Spice)... he seemed so relaxed in that one. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

I think it was 1998 and I don't know why. I think he was trying to promote "Newpower Soul" at the time, that's all I know. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

Do you know what show it was for? Was it done in England? "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

No idea. And by it was done at Paisley Park as far as I could tell. There's a picture from that interview where Prince is sitting on a swing and Mel B. is standing by him on the thread titled "Let's discuss this picture". had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

So honest he lied about his child? i wouldnt call it lying,i'm sure he felt that people had no right in the situation and was probably in a state of denial anyways, it couldnt of been a easy subject to talk about anyways let alone on tv Like a Gb Major with a E in the bass

Larry King interview 1999
Oprah 1996 The Electrifying Mojo 1986 The one on Australian TV in 2003 or 2004 And most of the time he really comes across great and in a good mood when he´s on Jay Leno. And that Ellen interview was also nice. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Simply incredible. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

That was a strange video. He kept twirling something circular in his hands during the interview. His response in the word association game to "jewelry" was "Jew". "Romeo, Romeo, let down your hair"....Wait! it's Rapunzel.

I just saw part of the Oprah one again...
I was on the edge of tears toward the end. Prince (at the time, ) was saying that in 10 years, he was going to have kids crawling all over him. But his future didn't come out that way... it's 10 years later... it's so sad. At the time, though, he just looked so happy and enlightened. He seems so different now. That same happiness isn't in his eyes, but he seems happier now than he did in the 80's and early 90's. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

That same happiness isn't in his eyes, but he seems happier now than he did in the 80's and early 90's. I was moved by the O interview at the time, but didn't know then what I know now. Why go ahead with an interview with someone like her if you're not going to be at all honest? I thought it was funny how even O, the queen of interviews, came up confused at certain points. "we don't know if they're male or female yet", etc. That 1985 MTV interview was just painfully strange, but I love it anyway. I remember watching that when it aired- had to go to my sister's house since my town didn't even have cable yet- both her and my bf were just like, WTF is wrong with him? While I sat with my jaw dropped telling them to shut up. My favorites? Mojo in 1986 ranks really, really high. And I love the 1985 Rolling Stone interview, by Neil Karlen. Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"
They've taken a lifetime lease on Paisley Park ...
