Songs a Led Zeppelin fan would like

I have a friend who is willing to humor me--he knows I think P. is a musical genius who has enough music in enough different genres to make EVERYONE happy.

So he's a Led Zepp fan. What songs do you recommend I introduce him to. . .?

Bambi, for sure, right? wink

Thanks in advance!

Um, how about Prince's take on Whole Lotta Love?

Follow that up with Family Name, Calhoun Square, either version of Beautiful Strange (1998 version or 1999/2000 Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic version), the 2002 live version of Peach, Motherless Child, (if you can locate) -- The ? Of U / Fallin' / The One (2002-04), Dolphin, and Live 4 Love.

Given some thought, Purple Rain 2 Prince is like Stairway to Heaven is 2 Led Zeppelin.

It's unbelievable the similarities. Both start out simply, the langugage is pretty cryptic and the songs build up as time goes on, and they end as quietly as they begin.
had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

You can find Whole Lotta Love on certain recordings in and around 2002-04.

Best of luck.
