Hello fellow orgers! I'm a bit out of touch of late, can someone tell who is in the current prince band?

Renato Nato still plays keys from time to time
Mr. Hayes still plays keys from time to time
Cora Dunham - drums
Josh Dunham - guitar
Mike Scott - guitar (from time to time)
The Twins (Maya & Nandy ... think that's what their names are) back-up vocals
Shelby - on back-up vocals
Mike Phillips - saxaphone
Prince - on everything else

Thanks I haven't seen the new band play at all except on tv and during the Tamar mini-tour and Renato wasn't on those. I was just going by what folks were saying who'd been to shows. I'll be correctly the Josh thing... I meant bass. I knew I was leaving something out when I typed this.

Anyone who has gone to any of the shows this month...can you tell me if Mike Phillips is still there? According to his myspace page after March, he was supposed to be moving on to other gigs he was booked for.

Well, reports are that Maceo was back this weekend so maybe that means Mike wasn't there. But I remember reading he was there last week and his myspace page says he'll be there next week.

I'm answering my own question....lol! I just checked and he must have cancelled or re-booked some of his previously booked gigs to stay working at 3121! He says the end of April is the "last show...for real"...lol!

If Prince moves his shows to LA, or wherever, I wonder if Mike will be going with him, as he has a lot of other booked shows according to his myspace page.
He's an absolutely incredible musician and it would be too bad if he left Prince's current band. He really compliments it!

I sometimes feel just when I'm getting to know band members and have some genuine fondness for them they are then replaced. That's a bit sad, but Prince being Prince.
