Anyway, Prince brought out Musicology because he thinks that the quality of music has gone down.
The Pussycats are a contributer of that plunge.
Here's a little side-story: I didn't get my license until age 18. I didn't get my permit until just b4 17 cuz I'm a lazy bum. I had to take the m/c test 3x b4 passing. Then b4 going for my license, I had driving lessons over the spring and summer of 2005... my driving instructor practically lives out of his car cuz he does all of his errands and such while taking his students out.
As if the smell wasn't bad enough, we had Q102 playing mainstream garbage the whole time.

I had to listen to "Don't cha" over 100x that summer along with so many irritating songs that I can't even remember them... I blocked them out of my head at this point...

All that they're for is "prancing around", looking hot and singing "sexy" songs. I listened to "Buttons" once... don't get me started, I wanted to gag.

Ok, you're gonna say "nearly 100% of Prince's music is about sex"... I'm perfectly aware of that. But he does it with style and class (I love "little red corvette" and "darling nikki")... AND he writes them himself.
The pussycats are just for show, they aren't good for much else in my eyes.
And yeah, I'll probably hear that Vanity 6 and Appolonia 6 were the same way... I'm just going to say "that's different". I already had a preconceived distaste for the pussycats... even their name makes me sick...

I certainly hope it's not true. :shudder:

The way I see it, if Prince is helping them out, then he obviously sees something good in them... I just don't want to see that.

Whatever the story, they will work with HIM, not the other way round, and he will ONLY do this if there is anything in it for him. Most likely a)fucking one, some or all of them, or b)wanting to fuck one, some or all of them.

the only thing I can think of is that you have a false image of who he is and what he does that is not an accurate refelction of Prince at all, and his working with the PCD contradicts your false image. if that is the case, you never really were into Prince, you were into your own flase idea of Prince, which is sad.

why do people think prince is "above" this? as someone has already said, the pussycat dolls are basically just vanity/apollonia 6. and, the pussycat dolls are probably more musically talented than vanity/apollonia 6 (not saying very much i know, but it's true). the first time i heard "don't cha" i thought "prince would have KILLED to have written that for vanity 6 in 1981"
