I heard somewhere Prince was supposed to have written one of the songs from the soundtrack but I was a big into the man at the time and never heard a whisper of this.
Did I miss something or should I stop listening to bull?

yeah i saw it listed someplace i think it is just a rumor

The movie includes the Prince penned "With This Tear", performed by Celine Dion..so yes, prince did in fact write a song in this movie.

I had to double check...aparently the song is NOT on the CD soundtrack, but it is in the movie itself, it's even listed at the imdb

that song is not listed in the film's credits.

I don't remember the song being in the movie at all... not that I'm particularly
inclined to go and rent the thing just to double check.
