Sign "O" The Times 20th Anniversary Remastered !?!

I think it would really be cool if Prince and Warner got together and released a Sign"O"the Times 20th Anniversary Remastered 3 disc set. That's right 3 disc's as it was originally intended. With all the different outtakes from Dream Factory to Crystal Ball to the final Sign "O" the Times. This was Prince's most creative period and the music released/unreleased was all excellent. What do you think ?

Mine too, I would enjoy the housecleaning, but the members of the org are situated all over the world, and how often would he or she be available to come to Canada to clean my bathroom, etc? Highly implausible, but it sure would be nice to have someone clean my place.

hmmmm... the original intended 3 disc VINYL set was not Sign O The times, that was Crystal Ball. And it wasn't all inclusive of SOTT. No "Adore"... I think....

Actually, "Adore" WAS on the Crystal Ball set... you are thinking of "U Got the Look."

This would be cool but I've stopped waiting for remasters from Prince neutral I don't think it's gonna happen in our lifetime.Such a shame! All week long,I've been listening to the Sly and the Family Stone remasters (which are excellent, btw) and it drives me crazy that Prince won't do the same.

And just in case anyone is confused, when I said Crystal Ball, I was meaning the 1986 sequenced album that was cut down to Sign O' the Times and released in 1987. When chocolate1 said Crystal Ball, she meant the 1998 collection of outtakes released...

If SOTT --- not the SOTT-Dream Factory-Crystal Ball project (1985-87) as you mentioned --- is remastered with today's technology (I hope it will soon) then you can easily fit all of the tracks on one CD.

That was not the case back in 1987.

I tested this with Forver In My Life once, just to hear if I could hear more, you know? And you know what? There was more.

But I look forward to the remastered version, whenever that becomes available. IF that becomes available.

If they didn't do it for Purple Rain's 20th anniversary (which was a monster hit on every level) in 2004 (which coincided with Prince's comeback Musicology tour) then they sure as hell ain't gonna remaster SOTT.

Sorry, I assumed that... because Crystal Ball [from 86/87] never had Crucial as a planned track... however, Crystal Ball [from 98] had the track... sorry if I assumed too much.
