She just tore it up around '93-'94 especially at those Glam Slam Miami shows. Mayte sucked (yeah, I said it)...all she did was shake her ass (and not even that well). It looked so fake to me. I know she is trained in ballet, belly-dancing, and modern(?)...but they always had her doing "hip-hop" or urban style and it never seemed believable when she did it. It just didn't fit--she couldn't pull it off. The only time I like her dancing/choreography is in The One and 7 vids, when she's sticking to what she knows.  The check. The string he dropped. Moses Pendleton (Batdance) Paula Abdul did Batdance.. I heard her on the radio talking about it in an interview... nobody knew who was doing the soundtrack and she leaked it out.. that it was Prince.. (the producers asked Jack Nicholson who he liked to see do the soundtrack.. Michael or Prince... Jack chose Prince.. ) [Edited 4/27/07 22:20pm] | |
