"Batman Begins" was missing Prince.... Did anyone else watch "Batman Begins" and miss Prince's music? While I liked "Batman Begins" I think 2 things made that film, beyond the obvious Tim Burton and Jack's Joker. They were - Keaton as Batman..DUH and Prince's music. While Danny Elfman's Batman theme became classic, Prince's stuff gave the film some funky edge. As I watch, "Batman Begins" it becomes clear to me, how much Prince and Batman go together.

You're just missing the music now? There've been other Batman films since 1989, you know -- and none of them have Prince's music in them.
Batman Begins didn't need any "funky edge." It wasn't that kind of film. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

Nah - Batman Begins is a darker film and wouldn't have suited music from Prince IMO. | |
