RE-MASTER!? RE-VISIT!? Of all Prince's albums, which one would you most like him to re-visit and re-work???... Maybe you would like him to change the flavour, the production or even the lyrics and arrangements...add new tracks...which one would most like him to re-do?
Mine - Sign 'O' The Times - a classic, yes, and some would say don't mess with a classic, but I would love to hear how he would re-work this entire album right NOW!

I'd say Gold because this one was definitely intended to be deifferent... "Goodness will guide us when love is inside of us... The Force will be with you, always"

Any of the first 4, I think a Dirty mind rework could be awsome with his current flare

Grafitti Bridge had some songs that could've been left out (Release it, Still Would Stand All Time, Tick Tick Bang seemed odd)
Most of all, probably Prince. Make It Thru The Storm would be really really cool on here right after "Sexy dancer" Then throw in "Leaving 4 New York" 4 the closer. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

All of the Warners back catalogue could do with a state of the art remastering and reissuing. Maybe there will be something of the sort in 2004, on the 20th anniversary of "Purple Rain". Or not.

I think all the 80's gear wants re-mastering. Of course, we all know it'll never happen, unless P crawls to them, which he won't or Prince suddenly becomes hip again and WB think they can make some cash - which won't happen either.
BTW - Please no re-working . PLEASE 1999 - The New Master, anyone? -----------------------------------------

You're joking about that aren't you? Still Would Stand All Time being one of his best ever songs, without that and Joy in Repetition Grafitti would be all but worthless. -----------------------------------------

re-master and re-visit "Parade" and "Sign O The Times" .
don't change a single note but do slap on all the trax recorded during that period. make it a nice 6 cd box and make that the main feature for the 2003 membership. well, i can dream can't i? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I wish he'd leave the lyrics/songs alone without f*cking them up
Thats like taking a dump on a work of art

I'd like the whole back catalogue to be remastered and repackaged with extra tracks (demos & outtakes) just like the recent Elvis Costello 'Rhino' re-releases.
Can you imagine 'Come' including the 'Beautiful Experience' version of the title track? How about 'For You' with 'Make It Through The Storm' and 'We Can Work It Out'? Or perhaps 'Sign O The Times' as a triple with the 'Camille' tracks? Then there's 'Parade' with 'Dream Factory' tracks. Not forgetting... You get the picture!
