Yup. I also got annoyed when she kept saying "You're pretty, really pretty." He's still a man, call him handsome or something other than pretty. At least to his face anyway.  ditto I didn't like Oprah one bit in the interview... but I did like Prince. the only part I didn't like is when he talked about other people existing inside of him... and when he told her "we don't wear this suit anymore" and she repeated it like a person would do to a crazy person... But the part when Prince takes her for a tour of Paisley Park and he shows her the nursery.... was just heartbreaking and very sad... but he did it with simple open honesty... he did not spill his guts... but dayum, I know I would have NEVER EVER taken her to the nursery, in fact there would not have been a nursery by the time Oprah got there. but he did and talked about his dreams of a big family there. honest and vunerable moment. the 2001 Jay Leno one.. (a 2 day interview, which I've never seen Leno do, except with Prince) both him n Leno played pranks on each other ..
the 1998 BET one with Tavis Smiley .. he goes alittle in depth about WB, sales of his albums via internet, answered some fan's questions ..etc.. | |

I'd say:
1) 5150 Kurt Loder in 1997-ish. He was relaxed and not in that kooky prince mode of answering questions. he was relaxed and funny! 2) Chris Rock vh1 interview. He again was just laid back, answered and very interesting. 3) ABC Interview about "The One" & that era. The Worse: 1) Oprah. She is a moron, awful interviewer AND CANT DANCE!
2) Tavis Smiley! ENOUGH with the NAME CHANGE QUESTIONS & Dumb Jokes. Is it still 1996??  If Tavis interviews him in 2009, he will do that lame joke. Total Jerkoff. | |

I was going through some old VHS tapes today and watched the Sinbad-Vibe appearance and interview from 1998. Absolutely one of his most charming moments! (at least the first half, before Larry started talking so much) He was relaxed, friendly, funny and oh so adorable- almost prettier than Mayte.  I love the beginning where Sinbad starts about how he never used to give interviews, and he replies in the high pitched voice- "that's because my voice is so high..." (something like that)
The opening performance was incredible as well.  He looked amazing!
Nurse- if you see this, do you have any pics from this appearance??? Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"
