Keep having these dreams that I'm jammin with P on the guitar and bass! Afterwards we sip some herbal tea and chat about music and how we can work together in the future. I tell P that I hope I don't become another of his string of protogees whose efforts come to nothing and he reassures me that our recordings will be the bomb. Suddenly we're on stage in front of thousands, P barks out 'on the one... huh!!!' and I just freeze and can't play anything. Then I wake up, feeling like shit cuz I let myself down as well as Prince.

Have any of you had the good fortune to actually witness P jammin during a soundcheck or during one of those Paisley Park sessions with the fans. Are his musical skills as impressive up close as they are from a distance in a concert with all the stage effects

I've not had that pleasure, but I've had quite a few very vivid dreams where I am in a bath tub, for example, fully clothed with him talking about music. Thrilling.

I've seen him and his various bands at soundchecks. Always mellow. Anyway, the first thing you notice, is that hes REAL normal. He acts like everybody else and you wonder where the Prince character is. Also he and his people take care to make sure everybodys comfortable and at ease. They all play like the wind. So shake that dream cuz i'm sure youd do fine jamming w/ ol boy.

I had this reoccuring dream for a while, where he would wake me up from a deep sleep, put out his hand and smile. It was almost god-like, there would be like a white light behind him (sounds corny i know). He would lead me into a garage.. and.. you know..then he showed me his talents..

For some odd reason someone would always be watching us .. and not in a kinky, fun way.. in a get the hell out of here you perve kind of way.

I have never had a dream about his musical talents..

He was sat down on a stool and I was very enthusiatic during my performance. Other people being there bothered me none.
