anybody ever been to the Manchester Apollo B4? (small venues rock!)

i haven't.but i got my tickets for the 7th (row GG any good? though i don't really care, as long as i'm there).

just wondering is it a good venue? it sounds small, which is good.the best gig i ever saw prince do was in Brixton Academy in'98 so i'm hoping for a similar awesome atmosphere.

woot!

I've not been for a few years - last time was Brand New Heavies with Omar supporting - I should have stayed for the support only.

It's a good venue in a shitty area, about 5 mins in a taxi from the city centre. A concert at the Apollo will be about 100 times better than one in the local enormodome - if you are in the NPGMC seats then it'll be like being in a club!!

I go to a lot of gigs and trust me THE APOLLO in MANCHESTER will rock. I've been there about 15 times. Its old but its got a great atmosphere...

TTD did a 3 hour set there & that was probally the closest thing...v.v.v.v.v good

I've seen Prince at Maine Road 92'

N.I.A Birmingham 93'

Wembley Arena 98'

but this WILL be the best EVER venue 2 catch him.ahhh so exited
