Is Prince better than Latoya Jackson? Do you think that Prince will go down as a legendary performer/artist in the same vein as that of Latoya Jackson?
Will Purple Rain still hold up as well as Latoya's legendary "Bad Girl" album, which sold 20 million copies worldwide according to the trustworthy Wikipedia? As much as i love Prince, I really don't know. I mean, Latoya could sing, write, dance AND act (something Prince can't) She like Prince is looked up to by her peers with great love and respect. Both legends, but which one will prevail?

Prince's Purple Rain performance was a'ight,
but it'll never compare to Toy's performance in the Say Say Say video.

Hard to say. I have all of Prince's albums and all of LaToya's album. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I guess I must be living on another planet or something... I am lost here... Why is Laytoya Jackson even being compared to Prince. Did she do something that I am not aware of or is this thread just a joke. I am being serious here

It is one of the biggest albums in pop history along with Thriller, Purple Rain, Like a Virgin, Baby One More Time. You should have at least heard one song from it. Anyways that album is a landmark. It was lyrically daring, commercially explosive and won a new battle for feminists. Latoya had it all at that point.

Anyone that actually knows the facts of Latoya wouldn't see any humor in this thread. They know what's truth.

She's a Jackson, what's there to know. She was molested by her father and was the only one of the Jackson's to speak out against the abuse she suffered as a child. She's honest, she's hot, she's daring. She's Toy.

Seriously, only those living under a rock wouldn't know that song. But yes, Just Wanna Dance is proof to her genius and fearlessness as she openely admits her bisexuality.

I'm STILL in shock! LaToya, you ought to be ashamed! The public is squeezin' you kiddo. You'd better kick ass on your next album or else!

Meanwhile Latoya is experiencing lots of airplay in time for the release of what's soon to be classic "Starting Over."
